This Gun for Hire is a much more straightforward story than the previous Toasters albums. Well, kind of. It was on Moon from the start, and did not go through TOO many iterations. The vinyl was black, and can be had for a relatively low price. There were two versions of the CD that came out in or around 1990. They were on Moon, but distributed by Sony, and that screwed up the catalogue numbers. One had the 468319 2 number on the spine, which is a straight-up Sony catalogue number from that period. The other reportedly had 88561-5035-2 on the spine - this was just the number of the barcode. I have never seen that one to confirm. Later, the CD came out in 1993 in the U.S. and UK with more standard catalogue numbers. OK, fine, this one was just as convoluted as the others. The cassette that came out in 1993 had different barcode info from previous releases.
No, of course it couldn't be quite that simple. This album was also released in Germany, but it was call T-Time there. It had totally different artwork. Otherwise, though, it was the same as the U.S. album. Black vinyl. Also on CD. Both are easy to find.
