Skaface: An All American Ska Compilation
Moon Records MR019 LP, released 1988 (U.S.)
Ska-Ville USA (Vol' 3) - An All American Ska Compilation
SKA' Records SKAR 006 LP, released 1988 (UK)
Skank Records SKANK CD 3, released 1995 (UK)
Skaface was a great comp. It was a landmark comp. Most of the best ska bands that existed at that time contributed in some way. This one happens to carry the distinction of containing the first appearance of No Doubt...back when they mixed some ska in with everything else. It usually carries a reasonable price tag these days. It is worth tracking down.
It was released in the UK as well under a different name and with different artwork.
Both the U.S. and UK versions were on black vinyl. Several years later, there was a UK
CD version as well, which is actually harder to find than the vinyl.
