Not only do the Afghan Whigs perform two exclusive cover songs on the Beautiful Girls soundtrack, but they perform the songs in the movie, too! There are better Whigs covers out there, but these two are definitely worth having. Fun fact: at some point, Greg Dulli revealed that the cover of "Be for Real" was based on the Frederick Knight version that can only be found on the 5xLP (or 4xCD/4xCS) East Memphis: The Hits box set compilation. The Beautiful Girls soundtrack was CD only and is easy to find.
