For the most part, Unbreakable is an anthology. However, it does contain two tracks recorded just for this release, "I'm a Solider" and "Magazine." Neither was my favorite Whigs song, but it was great to hear new material long after the band had broken up. The most interesting piece for me, though, was that they remastered all of the tracks included on this disc. It was not particularly noticeable for the major label tracks, but it was amazing to hear the Sub Pop-era tracks redone. The difference is incredible on "Retarded," "Turn on the Water," "Come See About Me," and "Let Me Lie to You." It was also good to get a version of "Gentlemen" that starts cleanly, minus the tail end of "If I Were Going."
